R&D Lab Tech

Summary: Seeking an R&D Lab Tech to support Research and Development projects through laboratory tasks, sample preparation, and pilot trials.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

3+ years' experience in laboratory, production, or quality environment

Basic Algebra proficiency

Competent in using computers and ERP systems

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, platform balances

Experience with thermal analysis tools like DSC and TGA

Knowledge of mechanical testing for tensile, compression, and bending of composite materials

Job Responsibilities:

Follow written and verbal instructions from Supervisors and Project Managers

Use lab equipment to prepare samples and conduct testing of resins, prepregs, and composite materials

Review SOP procedures; assist in writing SOPs and QCPs as needed

Maintain accurate records of prototyping, sampling, and development activities in the ERP system

Assist in production scale-up operations including resin manufacturing and product processing

Support quality assurance on testing functions as required

Obtain materials/chemicals for R&D work; perform housekeeping tasks to maintain the lab



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
