Overview Consumer-centric packaging innovation is becoming increasingly important for GCR foods categories. Meanwhile Pep+ is packaging team is tasked with the mission of transforming packagings. R&D Packaging Manager position to lead 1 junior engineer to be responsible for Snack STAX and Nutrition innovations in Greater China Region, also act as business interface. This role is accountable for STAX packaging innovation, productivity and sustainable packaging’s transformation, and Nutrition innovations. Responsibilities Create and Lead project management of STAX/Nutrition packaging agenda in China, for Nutrition mainly focusing on innovations ; Collaborate cross functionally (Supply Chain, 3rd Party etc) on packaging equipment validation; Planning & executing packaging trials at supplier sites, Pepsico factories and co-manufacturers; Qualification of new packaging materials to drive innovation & productivity ; Lead & Support mandatory deliverables of packaging foods safety & regulatory compliance, by working together with TDC team; Owner of Stage Gate process to ensure deliverables meeting timeline, quality and P&L hurdle; Support BPC packaging specification digitalization – CAST; Lead Stax packaging sustainability transformation in GCR; Lead Stax’s packaging design to value program; Qualifications Solid, 8+ years work experience within foods packaging BS or Master degree in Packaging Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Plastics Engineering Communication skills, Presentation Skills with proficient spoken/written English, as business interface Must have experience with primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials and have knowledge of the interrelationship with equipment. Must have strong conceptual, analytical and technical skills Must demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and consumer-driven environment. Strong project management skills
