R&D Manager  

Your role will be to lead and drive a team of 3 engineers -> cable design and taking into account the needs of our internal and external stakeholders and R&D community.

Your main responsibilities:

Power cable design and product costing. Ongoing maintenance of database related to design, materials used, process dataEnergy cables quotationComparisons of SC Prysmian Cables and Systems SA products with products of competitors or other Prysmian affiliatesDefine, implement and monitor actions to reduce product costs (Design to Costs = DTC)Approval of new, alternative materialsDevelopment of new products, including testing of new products by performing in-house approval tests in own QC laboratories or external laboratories.

Responsibilities SME

Ensures integration of energy performance requirements into the product design and development processApply the rules for energy saving and preventing unjustified energy consumptionPropose measures to improve the energy management system.Follow applicable rules and procedures within the energy management system.
