R&D Member of Technical Staff - II, Product Test
**AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies.** AVEVA Simulation & Learning team develops engineering solutions for our customers through our process simulation product offerings that target the chemical, energy, sustainability, and oil & gas industries. AVEVA Unified Learning Group is responsible for the delivery and support of cloud hosted operator training solutions. The focus of this role is product testing. You will work with other R&D team members to ensure that features meet customer requirements as well as our quality requirements. You may also assist and mentor our customers in the use of our offering. **Responsibilities:** · Be an advocate for the end users of the product. · Develop/review detailed functional specifications based on requirements. · Lead feedback/clarification sessions with product management and customers. Work with team members to incorporate feedback. · Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements. · Collaborate with the developers on new feature testing as well on regression testing. · Communicate effectively with our R&D team members, Product Manager and Customers · Assist in preparation as well as review of user documentation. · Improve QA processes. · Individual contributor as well as lead QA activities. **Qualifications** · A degree in Computer Science or in an Engineering major. · Demonstrated QA experience of 3-5 years in cloud environments. · Proficient in Automation Script Development using Java/C#/Python. · Experience with Jenkins, Jmeter. · Good communication skills, interpersonal skills. · Detail oriented Natural interest and passion towards product quality **Preferred Qualifications** · Experience in Engineering industry domain. · Experience in testing desktop applications. · Experience in C# language. **India Benefits include:** Gratuity, Medical and accidental insurance, very attractive leave entitlement, emergency leave days, childcare support, maternity, paternity and adoption leaves, education assistance program, home office set up support (for hybrid roles), well-being support It’s possible we’re hiring for this position in multiple countries, in which case the above benefits apply to the primary location.
