This role is responsible for batch processing utilizing pilot plant equipment and facilities to support product and product scale-up developments.

What You Will Do:
Attend weekly scheduling meetings to update, review and discuss weekly projects and work and all safeties therein.Operate process equipment and safety handling of chemicals and undertake all necessary duties to achieve required pilot plant operations.Review BOM, procedures, and process objectives. Discuss all safety aspects related to raw materials and batch processes. Maintain a good understanding of SDS and help to procure raw materials on assigned products as needed.Resolve technical issues with basic problem-solving tools and implement short-term corrective actions.Weigh out required raw material components and carry out instructions on manufacturing procedure on batch processing with clear objectives.Properly clean out reactors and supporting equipmentProper handling and disposal of chemicals and wastesSafely collect samples, complete proper labeling, and ship out samples as well as ensuring proper storage of retained samplesOperate fork truck, palletizers, scales, pumps, agitator, analytical balances, compressor, cooling water system, scrubber, etc.Maintain a working knowledge of SAP and Delta-V control systemPosition Details:
Plant location: Fresno, TX Pilot PlantWork week and shift: M-TH 5:00am – 5:00pm (May require shift-work and overtime when necessary)Compensation package offered: $34.00 - $40.00, depending on experienceMinimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent7 years of industry experience working in the chemical plant environment with a good knowledge and understanding of reactors, blenders, pumps, scales, agitators, cooling water systems, and scrubbers.No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunityPhysical Demands:
