Job Overview Independent development / design of electromechanical components Preparation of the documentation/drawings required by the development process Selection of suitable materials according to the requirements in the specification sheet or Customer specifications Initiation of the FEM calculation and evaluation of the results as a preventive function assurance for transferring the design to series production Discussion of the prototypes and test carriers Project planning and targeted project planning of the individual components Involvement in design FMEAs and participation in process FMEAs Coordination of qualifying tests during the prototype and series phase Support with quality and cost optimization measures during series production What your background should look like: Bachelor, Master, Dipl.-Ing. in mechatronics, mechanical engineering/design, precision engineering or similar (FH, TH) or practical training as a toolmaker, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic or similar Several years of experience with development processes in the automotive environment and the corresponding quality requirements (QS9000ff; TS16949) Experience in the areas of injection molding, stamping, bending and materials technology Experience in welding technology is an advantage Excellent knowledge in the design of complex components with Creo 3.0 Excellent knowledge of drawing creation, GPS knowledge is an advantage Good knowledge of MS Office, MS PowerPoint and MS Project Very good written and spoken German and English skills Knowledge of design-to-cost evaluation (basic business knowledge) Commitment, ability to work in a team and flexibility Independent and goal-oriented way of working
