R&D Product Verification Technician - Ontario, California

Design, develop, evaluate, and conduct test protocols, product stability, test method qualification and other verification activities of products for chemical, microbiological, physical and mechanical aspects and conclude this with formal reporting.
**Your role:**
+ Define, implement, and maintain reliable and reproducible testing methodologies and equipment, ensuring compliance with project deliverables or requirements.
+ Execute product shelf-life studies per stability protocols. Develop, execute and archive objective, reproducible and maintainable test protocols or methods.
+ Coordinate external and internal laboratory testing for the chemical, physical and microbiological properties and perform specific laboratory or verification tasks as needed.
+ Develop and conduct tests to verify functionality of the product against the design input requirements and prepare formal reports. Perform investigation of the laboratory failures and document in formal reports.
+ Participate in project teams at Philips Oral Healthcare to support new or modified formulations and related system.

+ You have experience in chemical or microbiological laboratory controls and maintaining laboratory controls and safe practices compliant to applicable requirements.
+ Your skills include providing support to document specifications, test methods and making instructions for chemical formulas.
+ You have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or related field or equivalent work experience.
+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is a full-time onsite role in Ontario, California.

**Philips Transparency Details**
The pay range for this position in California is $27.56 to $47.25 per hour.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
