Job Description

As an R&D Project Manager at Philips, you will lead projects and activities to implement and release Lifecycle Management (LCM) and/or Productivity design changes within the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems organization. You work closely with the LCM and/or Productivity program managers to maintain a committed roadmap ensuring installed base and manufacturing continuity and/or meeting productivity targets. You are responsible for implementation of the committed roadmap. You also drive continuous improvement initiatives and align with global teams to optimize performance. Your role involves guiding, coaching, and motivating R&D program and project managers, ensuring effective resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

As part of the R&D Project Management Office (PMO), you will work closely with the Head of R&D Project Management to implement strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and collaboration across global teams. 

Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of medical imaging technology by ensuring that projects meet regulatory, quality, and business requirements.

You're the right fit if:

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical and/or electrical engineering) and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years in a hardware development environment working with suppliers.

You have a strong background in Agile/SAFe methodologies and extensive experience in leading high-performing teams.

You possess excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects in a regulated industry.

You have a deep understanding of project planning, risk management, and performance tracking, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have experience navigating complex organizations and systems.
