Overview This role is responsible for leading activities on identifying and developing novel flavour ingredient technologies and application of fundamental flavour science to unlock high priority flavour problems to solve globally. The successful applicant will plan, design and undertake investigations to evaluate novel technologies for flavour systems that delight consumers and accelerate progress towards our PEP+ goals. Responsibilities Provide thought leadership in scoping opportunities & challenges within defined field, including alignment of technical problems to solve with global relevance ,Scout for technical unlocks & insights within Flavour S&T, across global F&S sector teams and from vendors ,Lead the identification, assessment, and validation of new tools and methods to deliver actionable technical insights for the business,Routine screening of ingredient technologies across flavour families against key performance metrics ,Execute development plans through a combination of direct lab work and directing work of strategic partners (e.g. vendors) through effective briefs ,Prepare ingredients/product prototypes to illustrate technical possibilities and assist in determining development directions Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,900 - $117,000 Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
