This position reports to

R&D Global Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB´s business units. Each day, you will manage Emergency Linghting Research and Development (R&D) project portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by facilitating the end-to-end execution of one or more complex, global/strategic R&D projects or programs to achieve associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes.- Manages the allocated Emergency Linghting R&D project teams and defines with key stakeholders the scope of work, cost / budget, resources required , time schedule and detailed work allocation.- Motivates and leads internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. - Monitors and controls project cost and financials and reports deviations.- Ensures project results are transferred to relevant line organization or department responsible - Uses own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams- Serves as key contact for project stakeholders and effectively communicates appropriate information to in timely manner to achieve desired understanding and support- Ensures project follows sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures - Ensures projects follow external standards etc. that influence activities and targets- Identifies, contains and reduces risk and makes sure that they are properly prioritized, managed and communicated

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or project management engineering8 years+ work experience of project management.Project management experience proved by certificate of worldwide company or PMI is preferred.Proactive, team-oriented, highly responsible and able to work under pressure and excellent at communication and coordinationChinese as mother tongue, very good English (fluently)
