Grow what’s next. Grow your future. The Technical Knowledge Solutions Team is looking for an intern who has an interest in agriculture, science, communication, and education. We are seeking someone to help support North America regional needs for technical learning resources. The intern will experience converting research and agronomy information into practical technical learning tools while utilizing adult education design and theory. At Corteva Agriscience, we know that people are our most valuable resource, and farmers know that, too. We seek to serve farmers, not just sell them products, and we do that by ensuring our salespeople are empowered to answer technical questions from farmers and tell the stories of our product innovations.

Qualifications

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in science (or science communications) with an interest in agriculture. Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Corteva.

Must be able to relocate to Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.

Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August).

Proficiency in common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships

Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner’s mindset

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with assigned working group (teams)

Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change

A passion for education and helping others learn
