Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - CORE:

• To support the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company.

• While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.

• Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.

• Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety guidelines.

• Assist in the execution of R&D production trials, which includes preparation of trial documentation, attendance, and sample collection, labeling, and storage.

• Prepare test samples from R&D production trials, including slitting and joining for tensile testing and wear and tear fatigue testing.

• Conduct testing, including melt flow, tensile strength, wear and tear, coefficient of friction, abrasion, and dimensional measurements.

• Maintain and upkeep lab equipment, accessories, and supplies.

• Collect and report data and results from lab testing.

• Maintain R&D inventory of production prototypes and ship out customer-prepared samples for evaluation and field testing.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
