R & O Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager here at Honeywell, you will have\nthe crucial role of overseeing and coordinating maintenance and operational\nactivities within our organization's physical facilities. Your role is\nessential in ensuring the functionality, safety, and proper upkeep of these\nfacilities, which contributes to the overall efficiency and well-being of the\norganization. You will report directly to our Site Director, and you'll work\nout of our Colonial Heights, Virginia location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the day-to-day management\nof facility maintenance and operations. You will be accountable for ensuring\nthat our facilities are operating safely, effectively and efficiently,\nproviding a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers.\nYour expertise in maintenance and people management will not only enhance the safety,\nproductivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the\noverall success of the business. It is imperative that you not only practice\nsafety but embody it here at Colonial Heights.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enforce and practice all of site safety protocolsDrive accountability across the work group maintaining operational disclipline.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans, prioritizing tasks to\nensure that facilities remain well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and\noperational.Participate in budget planning and help manage allocated funds for\nmaintenance activities to achieve cost-effective solutions while maintaining\nhigh facility standards.Monitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, such as equipment\nand infrastructure, and coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades as\nneeded.Ensure that facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory\nrequirements, managing necessary permits and certifications, and addressing any\ncompliance issues.Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance\nservices, monitoring their work to ensure it meets established standards and is\nwithin budget.Implement energy-saving and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs\nand minimize the environmental footprint of facility operations.Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and maintenance performance\nevaluations to maintain and improve facility standards.Assist in the development and execution of emergency response plans for\nfacility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, and\nother emergencies.Work with other departments, senior management, and stakeholders to\ncomprehend their facility needs and provide updates on maintenance activities.
