There is currently an opening for a Manager Production-Process Op 1 join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position falls under one of Northrop Grumman's Small Business Units, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. and will be located onsite in Santa Rosa, CA
Roles and Responsibilities: Manager Production-Process primary duty is to manage the day-to-day production activities of multiple teams of production operators for a thin film manufacturer. This role includes direct supervision, coaching, scheduling /planning and mentoring of a production team to promote a positive and productive work environment. It will require supporting the sharing of direct labor resources within Operations and completing performance reviews for assigned personnel, along with effectively documenting and communicating production issues/status to other shift personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of work experience as a lead or a supervisor in manufacturing, production, or engineering environment OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 8 years of work experience as a lead or a supervisor in manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer and MS Office skills
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to plan, schedule and follow up on assigned work progress
General knowledge of thin film coatings or similar processes is desired but not a requirement
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Ability to cover weekend on call and respond as required for unplanned events
Prior experience managing in Thin Film Coating
Salary Range: $88,700.00 - $133,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
