The Opportunity
Reporting to the Light Products Rack Manager, the Rack Coordinator will administer/update the DV-TMS database at the Light Products Rack and Weigh Scale with temperature, product, truck tank, insurance, and customer/driver information. You will also be responsible for daily transactional reporting. Rack Coordinators also administer the Load Rack Controllers (LRCs) both at the rack and dock. Our Shipping Department works a monthly rotating shift schedule in a 24/7 operations environment. The successful candidate will be trained on Day, Swing and Graveyard shift until qualified in all areas of responsibility.
Key activities include:
Receive, process, and enter asphalt and light products rack orders Coordinate with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for truck shipments to military bases Prepare government documents and input daily shipments into government internet site Operate weigh scale manually or by TMS system to process orders and receive products for offloading into the Refinery Inspect pumps, piping, tanks, and meters for leaks and maintenance issues Issue work and purchase orders in Maximo Prepare equipment for maintenance work in accordance with Energy Control Procedures Update the TMS system (driver, tank, product, and carrier files) Monitor and operate the LRC system to include updates to the product blend and additive field changes Operate and transfer Refinery telephone calls, serve as POC and phone operator for Refinery, emergencies (evacuations and emergency response), and as the Off Site Phone Operator doing Emergency Evacuations Responsible for after-hours security of main office building Provide drivers with safety orientation and training, monitor drivers for proper safety practices, truck placarding, and other environmental and safety regulations Assist drivers with loading problems associated with rack mechanics, TMS, or LRC systems Monitor and maintain Diesel and Gasoline underground storage tanks (employee fuel service pumps) Monitor additive tanks, record inventory, and offload chemical trucks Input data into Meridian electronic filing system, obtain daily meter readings and tank gauges, generate and distribute system reports, maintain and track Red Dye seal numbers (Excel) Monitor the Light Products Rack for efficient operations and observation of safety regulations, custodial duties to maintain a clean & safe rack, scale, additive tank area, and office environmentNote: This description is intended to give you a general overview of the position, additional responsibilities and opportunities may be identified based on current business needs.
Qualifications
To meet the basic qualification for employment, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. Additional qualifications include:
Must be willing/able to work 10-12 hour shifts that rotate monthly in support of 24 hour operations, work weekends and overtime on short notice in a 24/7 environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and work in inclement weather conditions Will be required to pass Ecology Class C Operators Training Course following hire Knowledge of relational databases is desirable Candidate will be able to work under pressure in an often fast-paced environment with good communications skills and a positive attitude Demonstrated experience in a customer-service oriented environment : Be a reliable self-starter Have strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word a must)

Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $27.48 to $41.23 (hourly rate based on an 8 hour day), plus non-discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
