**Job Title: Racker** **Job Description** This is a part-time position offering 25-32 hours per week. We have 1 opening on the first shift and 1 on the second shift. Shifts are as follows: 1st Shift (starts at 7:00am-12:30/2:00pm) & 2nd Shift (starts at 3:30pm-8:30/10:00pm). The Racker position involves racking and un-racking delicate parts to support finishing operations such as cleaning, plating, or other surface coatings. The operator will typically be in a sitting or standing position, using copper wire or pre-existing pins to wire fixture parts onto designated racks for subsequent operations. This role requires articulating your wrists and hands to perform the tasks efficiently. **Hard Skills** + Perform racking operation per general instructions (i.e. using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixture) + Read and apply special instructions when applicable + Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy + Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead + Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition + Follow prescribed safety regulations + Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment as required + Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision **Soft Skills** + Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands **What's in it for you?** + Weekly pay + Benefits: 401k, vision, health, dental **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Plymouth, Massachusetts. **Work Environment** The Racker position involves both sitting and standing tasks.
