Produces clinical diagnostic radiographic films. Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocol, policy and procedures and established standards of practice. Operates radiographic equipment, develops film, prepares room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient care services using general and specialized imaging modalities under the direction of a physician but not requiring constant technical supervision. Radiology services are provided to patients of all ages. Applies ionizing radiation in the performance of a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis. Responsible for patient care safety. Assists physicians in the performance of procedures and the administration of contrast media. Assumes responsibility for designated procedures and equipment. Participates in orientation of Radiology Department staff. Works cooperatively with members of the health care team to maintain standards for professional Radiological Technologist practice in the clinical setting.

Graduate of an accredited radiology program
Minimum Experience/Skills:
1 year recent acute care hospital experience preferred
