As a Rad Tech at Oro Valley Hospital, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Our Imaging staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401K, flexible scheduling, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to 10K for student loan payments.
**Requirements:**
+ Possess a diploma from an AMA approved training program/school of Radiologic Technology.
+ ARRT Registry/Certification in Radiologic Technology required.
+ Current NM State Licensure in Radiologic Technology required.
+ BLS required.
+ ACLS preferred.
+ PALS preferred.
**About the Job:**
+ Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at appropriate technical level.
+ Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
+ Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, including specialized areas such as X-ray Radiology.
+ Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medical relatedenvironment.
+ Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards.
+ Technologist is expected to show initiative, exhibit critical thinking and be able to work independently.
