Overview Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative. Additional Essential Job Functions: � Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, collaborating with physician to evaluate images and report abnormalities immediately � Follow established protocols for all imaging equipment, performing all routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and functions checks � Assist during exams, treatments and procedures, including chaperoning correlating findings with procedure being performed and ensuring Time-Out observed on appropriate procedures according to policy � Demonstrate proficiency at inserting and maintaining IV�s � Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with CLIA regulations and established policies and procedures � Demonstrate ability to perform laboratory Quality Controls and Assessments, and routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and function according to Laboratory Policy and Procedure � Ensure proper supplies, appropriate medical equipment and medications are available for patient care and Par levels meet facility needs � Participates in QAPI activities including participation in accreditation preparation and survey process, and maintenance of accreditation, state, and CMS standards � Adheres to established facility/departmental policies and procedures � Prepare patient meals as needed in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols � Attends and participates in all applicable facility meetings, training and development workshops � Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be registered by the ARRT. Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Must have current BLS certification.
