Key responsibilities of this role include:

 

Drawing blood and collecting specimens from patients of all agesProcessing and performing some tests on site, using proper methodology.Guiding patients through the lab and imaging process safely and comfortablyArranging patients for radiological examinationsProducing radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problemsPreventing patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiationRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobWillingness to cross-train in all areas of the clinic, learn phlebotomy and labHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with 0-2 years of experienceWork under immediate supervisionA certain degree of creativity and latitude is requiredTypically reports to a chief technologist or managerArkansas state license required in radiography

 

Previous experience in lab and x-ray preferred.

 

Notes/Comments: Must have limited AR license in all modalities within 45 days of hire date.
