*Description* *Full-time Opening for Radiation/Oncology Advanced Practitioner - Norwalk, Connecticut * Nuvance Health, formerly Western Connecticut Health Network has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Radiation Oncology Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) at the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. We are located in suburban Fairfield County about one hour outside of New York City and nearby to Westchester County. This is a full-time position for weekday outpatient visits. The center is open Monday through Friday with regular office hours, with for 4/10 schedule. The ideal candidate will be board certified and have at least 3-5 years of advanced nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience and/or equivalent nursing experience in the Radiation/Oncology setting... The candidate must be able to work well both with a large multidisciplinary team as well as independently.[]()Advanced practitioner Connecticut license, Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA are required. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
