Requirements Job Responsibilities: + Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being before, during, and after radiation therapy. + Administer supportive care and medications as prescribed, including managing side effects. + Educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques. + Collaborate with the radiation oncologist and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. + Monitor and document patients' response to treatment and report any adverse reactions. + Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Job Requirements: + Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Oncology nursing. + Current BLS certification. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. + Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
