We’re looking for an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our extraordinary team at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.

Job Summary:

Provides radiation therapy treatments.  Performs simulation; performs quality assurance tests on equipment. Plays an active role in the care of patients through the education process and daily interaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:        

Certification as a Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (RRTT) and current Maryland Licensure.Must meet and follow state, federal and local professional requirements.Must follow JCAHO and Regional Cancer Center policies on radiation safety and protection in the deliver and use of radiation producing equipment and sources.Successful completion of an AMA accredited course of study in Radiation Therapy Technology.BLS certification required.Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 30 pounds.Additional Information
