Requirements for consideration:

Associate degree or Certification in Radiation Therapy Two years as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy Department and GE simulator equipment with minimal supervision. American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification required upon start. Basic Life Support required upon start.

Job Responsibilities:

The Radiation Therapist 2 communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors and outside contacts.  Responsible for treatment modalities and protocols to accurately set-up and administer radiation treatments on a daily basis.  Performs simulation procedures for initial patient set-up while verifying proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators and Computed Tomography machines. Performs other duties as assigned.
