Job Title: Radiation Therapist - Join Our Innovative Cancer Care Team!

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of medical professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in administering cutting-edge radiation therapy treatments to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Administer radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy, utilizing advanced technology and techniques

- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, chief radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans

- Provide empathetic and patient-centered care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction

- Participate in clinical instruction, mentoring newly hired therapists and students, and contributing to the development of best practices

- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other digital technologies to streamline workflows, enhance patient care, and improve communication

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy, attending conferences, workshops, and online courses to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

- Strong understanding of radiologic technology, radiation therapy, and medical terminology

- Excellent patient care and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion

- Proficiency in EMR systems and electronic medical records

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior oncology experience (not required but highly valued)

- Recent graduates welcome to apply

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
