Utilizes their technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Has completed the senior therapist criteria and stays current with those requirements.

Required Qualifications: 

A graduate of a radiation therapy technology program, accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic TechnologyWashington Radiologic Technologist upon hireNational Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hireHired as a new graduate - up to 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 3 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist; --or--Hired with 2 years - up to 5 years experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 2 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist; --or--Hired with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 1 year of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
