Job Description:Job Profile Summary
In the Behring Pavilion the Radiation Therapist delivers patient treatments in Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Therapist creates treatment devices, simulates patients, reviews treatment charts for accuracy, performs quality assurance tasks, and safely delivers radiation to the patient, The Radiation Therapist provides patient care that is consistent with the John Muir mission and vision. The Radiation Therapist is focused on high quality delivery of care.

Education

Completion of Radiation Therapy Technology Program - Accredited - RequiredBachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience

2 years Healthcare - Radiation Oncology Technologist – Preferred

Certifications/Licensure

RRT Registered Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required andCDPH - Certified Radiologic Technologist Therapeutic Radiologic Technology - Required andBLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Skills

Excellent written and oral communicationUse of Epic and other patient data systemsAbility to direct patient careAbility to collaborate with physicians and other professionals in patient care

Work Shift:08.0 - 07:30 - 16:00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$64.87 - $91.14Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
