**Description:**
Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Radiation Therapy Tech. to join our team in our Radiation Department!

Per Diem/Pool, rotating shift
**Summary:**
Administers prescribed treatment to patients using specialized therapy and computer systems. The purpose is delivery of quality care. Perform and/or assist in CT simulation procedure in CAT Scan department.
+ Accurately delivers the prescribed planned course of therapy using the Linear Accelerator.
+ Observes radiation safety measures for patient, self and others.
+ Utilizes safety features of the safety needle (tatooing) appropriately.
+ Assists patient to be as comfortable as possible on the table during all procedures, uses kneepads, armrests, security belts, additional blankets.
+ Communicates with patient to ensure importance of comfort of position, allowing patient to have choices as appropriate to the situation.
**Requirements:**
+ HS graduate or equivalent
+ Graduate of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
+ Registered as ARRT with certification in radiation therapy
+ AHA BLS
