Designing implementing and maintaining wireless communication systems Optimizing the portfolio through establishing maintaining and developing strong longterm relationships with suppliers clients key business executives and stakeholders Act as point of reference for all RF related
enquiries
Thorough understanding and analysis of wireless networks including RF design circuitry cell site design LTE networks and simulation of RF performance
Oversight of subassembly test plans and procedures integration and qualification of new products and product upgrade
Preparing product forecasts and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses including liaison with production locally and globally to ensure supply timelines
Management of system stock levels report on items
Provide product awareness training sessions to Employees Clients Contracts and Subcontractors
Building relationships with all stakeholders
Implementation and management of standards in RF assembly line
Maintaining ISO standards
Ensuring that Suppliers conform to ISO standards
Ensure that production/assembly processes are updated relevant and visibly available
Make product diagrams/specifications and any specific product requirements available to all stakeholders
Minimizing product nonconformances and taking the appropriate action where required
Monitoring and Evaluation of Suppliers
Ensure Suppliers Compliance to
BBBEE legislation
Health Safety and Environmental regulations
Product Marketing and branding of products
Coordination of sales and market approach
Evaluation of price competitiveness
Continuous analysis of the market segment
Communicating new products and product changes
Provide and generate information for successful Tender / Bids / RFQs / RFIs / RFPs and Vendor Applications
Monitoring and Evaluation of Suppliers contractual obligations Quality leadtimes EOL DOA etc
Ensure that Supplier Contracts are updated Renew/ Cancel
Address matters around nonconformance in a timely manner
Adhere to all company policies procedures regulatory standards and statutory requirements
Requirements
Matric Certificate
Engineering Degree
A minimum of 5 years Telecommunications Product knowledge and experience
Must be an expert in the field of Radio Frequency
Computer literacy with MS Office Visio Accpac
Sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of product life cycle financial structures accounting procedures and purchasing processes
Thorough knowledge experience and understanding of the Telecommunications Industry and principles of competitive advantage
Excellent Product Knowledge in microwave circuit tools electromagnetic simulation tools amplifiers converters connectors loss frequency fall arrest etc
Well versed in mathematical models physic equations and practical applications
Required to attend meetings functions/events
National and International travel required
