The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Team in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Test Operations Technician for the Outdoor Antenna Range at Smartt Field Airport, St. Charles Portage Des Sioux.
This position provides an opportunity work with an experienced, interdisciplinary, and multi-organizational team to create innovative solutions to meet unique and challenging requirements in a test environment. The Test Operations Lead takes requirements from programs and applies them to range test configurations. This experienced technician will be responsible for leading test setup, test execution, verification, and validation of antennas and radomes. A strong candidate will have a background in general laboratory skills, mechanical skills, knowledge of RF equipment, strong technical judgment, and the ability to rapidly make and contribute to decisions that balance the overall test program.
This role will require strong collaboration skills to work with an interdisciplinary and multi-organizational team to complete a test program that meets customer requirements. Must have organizational skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Senior and Lead level Radio Frequency Test Operations Technicians.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Plan, conduct and document complex tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologiesDesign, fabricate, build and analyze test systems, materials, components, software and methodologiesCoordinate test requirements, determines test methods and capabilitiesConduct system test preparations by guiding system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardownPerform test article configuration controlConduct complex tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviewsIdentify and resolve test anomaliesTroubleshoot and resolve complex laboratory and test-related problemsCoordinate test laboratory activities, maintenance and repairs, and personnel trainingAssist government agencies, safety and hazardous materials teams in the event of emergenciesCoach and train othersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Associate’s degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience5+ years of experience in the field of RF/Microwave electronics design and RF/Microwave testPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceActive US Security Clearance (DoD Secret)More than the minimum experience working in electronics development laboratories or RF/antenna test rangesExperience with the use of electromagnetics test equipment (Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, RF Amplifiers, etc.)Experience with laboratory administrationExperience with laboratory testing of state-of-the-art digital, analog/mixed-signal, and/or RF integrated circuitsExperience with laboratory testing of antennas and/or RF/microwave/electro-optical componentsExperience supporting military radar, communications, electronic warfare, or avionics/mission processor programDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $63,750 – $88,250
