Collins Aerospace, Connected Aviation Solutions, Connectivity & Enablement Solutions, is seeking an experienced Radio Solutions Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative radio technology solutions, including radio networks, that meet the strategic objectives of our clients and stakeholders. What You Will Do
You will lead the design and deployment of radio technology solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technologies into existing and new telecommunications infrastructure.You will support the full lifecycle of technical projects, from concept through design, testing, implementation, and support. You will provide technical leadership and guidance with project teams, ensuring best practices in engineering and project management are followed. You will work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. You will perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of RF products and servicesYou will develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners, to secure the best terms and products for the company. You will stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting radio technologies. You will provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients.You will travel up to 30% and can vary across Canadian timezonesQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a College/University Degree/Diploma and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in radio technologies with specific experience in designing, deploying, and managing radio networks. Prior experience of radio frequency (RF) technology and digital communications and/or network architecture. Prior experience managing and delivering technical projects.Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Radio Frequency (RF) or a related field. Prior dispatch console systems experienceFamiliarity with public safety communication systems, P25, DMR, TETRA requirementsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Experience with systems integration involving multiple technologies and vendors. Ability to innovate and drive changes in business processes through technology. Prior customer service experience. Experience in supervision and project leadership. Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal). Self‐starter with good motivational skills. Excellent time management skills including prioritizing, planning, organization and multi‐tasking.
