Mon-Fri 7:30a-4:00p, every 4 week call rotation

General Summary

Performs routine and specialized radiographic procedures. Performs routine screening mammography procedures. Further contributes to other health care providers through the support of WellSpan Health System's Mission, Vision and Values. Willing to train in Mammography, if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs routine screening and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.Performs radiographic examinationsMaintains department quality assurance programs.Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedures.Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.Prepares, maintains, and scans appropriate documentation required by the department.Becomes proficient in EKG's

Qualifications

Work Experience:

1 year Radiographer Experience Required

Licenses:

Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required andRegistered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required andRegistered Technologist-Mammography - ARRT within 1-1/2 years Required

Courses and Training:

Registration Eligible Upon Hire Required andAccredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required
