General Summary

Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs radiographic examinations.Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.

Minimum Education:

Associates Degree Required

Work Experience:

Less than 1 year 6 - 12 months Required

Licenses:

Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Registration/license as Upon Hire Required andBCLS certification Upon Hire Required andAccredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required
