Summary:

Leads team members for assigned areas or functions by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with all nursing units to provide radiology service that meets or exceeds their expectations.Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on the handling of complex or novel issues. Problem solves as needed. Is able to remain calm in a high paced department during stressful situations.Serves as a positive role model by working with team members to promote teamwork, cooperation and excellent customer service.Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.Assists with equipment quality control testing, maintenance and troubleshooting. Participates and contributes to performance improvement efforts as needed.Prioritizing assignments and workflow by performing and delegating tasks as necessary to maintain efficient and safe patient care.Provides guidance, feedback and instruction to coworkers as necessary. Monitors technologist performance and provides input as needed for performance evaluations, especially in the areas of productivity and image quality.
