Radiologic Technician - Part Time, Days

Performs Radiology Procedures, including portables and trauma, as ordered by physician or the Radiologist in accordance with department procedures. Performs fluoroscopic and Operating Room (including Hybrid Room) procedures according to standard protocols, under the supervision and direction of radiologist and other physicians.Portable and general radiology proficiency required; experience in Trauma, OR an Fluoroscopy required. Produces quality radiographs according to department Routine Procedure Protocols, utilizing proper exposure factors and positioning. Documents technical factors of each procedure in accordance with departmental procedures. Dicoms procedures and places the images on PACS for the Radiologist to read. To ensure timely turnaround of patient results

Performs duties in support of the Hospital Mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.

This position serves all ages of patients.

Education and Training:  

High School diploma or equivalent required. ARRT required Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. CPR Mandated and permissive Reporter Training Required  

Experience:

Graduate of a 2-year school of Radiologic Technology.
