Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. 2. Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by physician
according to established standards.
3. Maintain principle of ALARA. (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)
4. Operate as a medical assistant when there are no radiograph orders to perform. (Triage, Discharge, Lab work,
Performing tests, Assisting with procedures, etc.)
5. May be utilized to register patients.

Certified as Registered Radiologic Technologist and licensed by S.C. Radiation Quality Standards Associate and certified by SC Quality
Standards
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology: Certified as Registered
Radiologic Technologist.
