JOB SUMMARY
Work Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off. Wednesday - Tuesday 9:00 pm - 7:00 am.
*Work 70 hours in a pay period but get paid for 80, plus great shift differentials*

The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of technical radiography procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. The Technologist works under the direction of the radiologist to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This individual assumes the responsibilities of designated areas and procedures, and takes corrective action for minor equipment and or computer malfunctions. Room setup, patient positioning, patient screening, knowledge of Computed Radiography (CR) and/or Digital Radiography (DR), quality control, and radiation safety are the direct responsibilities of the Technologist.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited radiography program, ARRT (RT) registered.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: 2 years of experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Valid Radiographer licensure in the State of Wisconsin, Must have ARRT (RT) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).
