Responsibilities Operates imaging equipment during intra-operative procedures including C-arm, O-arm, Mini C-arm, and portable x-ray unit Operates diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopy Selects appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality images while maintaining ALARA standards Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic exams Cleans and maintains imaging equipment Protects patients and personnel from radiation hazards Maintains required records such as daily log books Navigate the PACS system including review of images and uploading outside exams Apply and maintain current knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices Ensures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports issues to the radiology manager or designee Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate degree from an accredited Radiology Program ARRT (R) Registry Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire Preferred Job Requirements: Minimum of one year of X-Ray experience
