Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist will operate the Hologic Discovery Wi DXA for screening purposes Responsibilities: + Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic,fluoroscopic, and portable equipment. + Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures. + Operates Hologic Discovery Wi DXA for equipment. + Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports. + Performs other duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities: + Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. + Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology. + Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes. + Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and staff. Education and Experience: + Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. + Additional BD credentials preferred. + One year of experience desirable.
