Radiologic Technologist - Virginia Beach

Full Time | Monday - Friday, No night, No on-call, No holidays

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a radiology role. You will be responsible for setting up patients for various services, rooming, as well as providing general radiology role.

ResponsibilitiesThe Technologist is responsible for using the x-ray equipment to produce diagnosing imagesResponsible for explaining the procedure performed to the patientPrepares the patient for x-rays by making sure they are properly positioned for optimal resultsTakes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safetyUses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materialsEnsures equipment is in working orderReports equipment malfunctions to supervisorPerforms other tasks as assignedEssential Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of appropriate medical terminologyOrthopedic experience prefferedSkill in using x-ray equipment6-12 months related experience/trainingCompletion of ARRT programLicensed in the state of VirginiaWork Environment

You will work in an outpatient setting, interacting with patients and healthcare support staff. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive medical equipment. Standard healthcare attire is required.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, days only. No nights, holidays, or on-call.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00
