Radiologic Technologist - Full Time Nights

Job Description:

* Reviews imaging request to determine proper exam protocols. Looks for indications of WET or STAT readings. * Confirms patient identity. * Communicates effectively with patient. Translates examination into layman terms based on professional knowledge. * Performs radiographic procedures. * Reviews processed radiographs in computer system to ensure exam is viewable, anatomically correct, and required identifiers are present. * Documents exam completion in patient medical record. * Maintains cleanliness and safety of exam areas and equipment. * Monitors supply levels and informs supervisor of ordering needs. * Notifies supervisor of any radiographic equipment malfunctions. * May participate in orientation of new Technologists. * Performs related clerical duties including, but not limited to, computer data entry maintaining logs, etc. Performs related duties, as required.

 Qualified candidates are eligible for up to $10k in loan forgiveness

Job Qualification:

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required. New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required. Experience with Radiology Information System, PC, radiographic equipment (i.e. portable/fixed units, c-arms, fluoroscopic equipment), required.
