Radiologic Technologist I
Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures , producing images for the interpretation by, or at the Request of a licensed independent practitioner. Radiographers demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Radiographers prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy. Radiographers remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills. Schedule: Primarily Dayshift Monday-Friday (6am or 8:30) start time rotating would need to cover 2nd or 3rd shift including every other weekend variable holiday and on call rotation #READ Qualifications Education Requirements Post High School Diploma Program Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure BLS Certification RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date Required Skills Collaborative Skills Detail Oriented Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills Excellent Teamwork Skills Listening Skills Microsoft Outlook Multitasking Problem Solving Skills
