ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II (PRN), internally referred to as our Radiology Tech II at Providence Medical Center a member of Prime Healthcare. Focus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
perform Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, or other procedures according to department protocols, while cross training as a CT Techresponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as neededinteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinationsmaintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical historystay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certificationoperate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities and assist in maintaining Performance Improvement Programs (PIP) maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by Stateappropriate national certifications in two modalitiescurrent BCLS accredited by the AHAfamiliar with State and Federal regulationsgraduate of an accredited radiology technology program (accredited by JRCERT preferred)proficient computer skillsone year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred#LI-JJ3
