Radiologic Technologist III

Position Highlights:

•     Position: Radiologic Technologist Lead 

•     Location:  Lake County ICC sites

•     Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours

•     Hours: M-F 9a - 7p  S-S 8a - 5:30p, rotating weekends

•     Required Travel: None

What you will need:

•     License: IEMA licensing required

•     Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program

•     Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registered.

•     Experience: 2-3 years of previous tech experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.

•     Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do:

Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.Oversees the ortho suite and assists with ACC-B ortho workflow and efficiency.Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.Handle patient recovery.Stay on top of exam delays.Keeps track of trends in productivity.Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.Strong problem solving skills.Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.Will perform tech evaluations.Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.Onboard new employees.
