Summary: The Radiologist Technologist-Limited is responsible for the maintenance and quality of patient care on a continuing basis for the Diagnostic Radiology department and throughout the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Produce a variety of high-quality radiographs through proper positioning and technique. + Utilize assigned functions with the Radiology Information System to complete paperwork and document. + Utilize the hospital computer system to enter radiology charges, and/or credits. + Review patient's chart for confirmation of physician's orders and follows written and/or verbal protocols and instructions. + Follow department, ACR, NRC and State policies and regulations for radiation safety to keep exposure "ALARA" + Educate the patient and family when necessary, regarding exams and procedures. + Perform visual preventative safety inspections and report dangerous department or equipment conditions to the appropriate personnel. + Communicate equipment malfunctions and low inventory levels to appropriate leader. + Perform other duties as assigned.
