Job Posting Title: Radiologist Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Rotational call coverage Job Description: The Department of Radiology at Scottish Rite for Children is seeking an enthusiastic and highly-motivated full-time musculoskeletal radiologist to join our medical staff. Candidates for this position must be Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and possess Fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging with experience in interventional musculoskeletal procedures using ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT guidance. As well, an ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and embrace the tripartite mission of the Department: excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Scottish Rite offers an unmatched combination of excellence in pediatric diagnostic orthopedic imaging, a wide variety of pediatric orthopedic pathology, and a strong emphasis on physician wellness and work-life balance with very limited call responsibilities, as we do not have an ER or ICU. We have two main centers, one with a focus on general pediatric orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology and pediatric developmental disabilities, and the other on the care of high-level child and adolescent pediatric athletes (i.e. sports medicine). Our six centers of excellence include scoliosis and spine, limb lengthening, hand conditions, foot disorders, hip disorders and sports medicine. We are dedicated to excellent patient care, pioneering research and innovation of leading-edge technologies, and educating future leaders in pediatric orthopedics. Our Department of Radiology also maintains close collaborations with the Department of Orthopedics through multidisciplinary rounds and multiple clinical and research endeavors. We perform approximately 45,000 imaging exams each year. The Department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including a 3T Philips Ingenia and 3T and 1.5T GE magnets, Philips US, Philips and Carestream DR/CR, 2 EOS machines, and Sectra PACS. Currently on staff are 4 radiologists with MSK radiology fellowship training and 1 radiologist with pediatric radiology fellowship training. Qualifications + Doctor of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO) + Diagnostic Radiology Residency + Advanced training (Fellowship) in Musculoskeletal Radiology + Experience with musculoskeletal interventions desired + Participation in the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program in diagnostic radiology; or ABR lifetime certification + Medically licensed or eligible to be licensed with the Texas Medical Board + Experience in academic radiology research desired, but not required At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
