Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City – Plaza location is seeking a Radiology Assistant to support our Magnetic Resonance Imaging Department. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting the MRI team with throughput. You will be an extension of MRI Technologists, adding an additional level of support that will ensure our vision, “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.” is maintained.

Shift: PRN (weeknights/weekends)

Responsibilities:

Assists with MRI exams with or without contrast  

Assists with MRI Guided biopsies(Will vary by location)                                     Assists with screening and device research prior to scanning all patient in adherence with SLHS MRI Safety practices

We are seeking patient centered, self-driven, motivated Radiology Assistants who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. To be successful, you will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and enjoy interacting with patients and their loved ones.

 

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
