Radiology Care Technician
Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue Fort Worth, Texas 76104
Work hours: PRN, EVENING’s

Here’s What You Need
Education
· High School Diploma or Equivalent required
· Associate's Degree Health Information or Health Related field preferred
Experience
· None required
Licenses and Certifications
· CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist preferred upon hire required Or
· ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred upon hire required Or
· LMRT- Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist preferred upon hire required Or
· NCT Non-Certified Radiology Technician preferred upon hire required Or
· CNA - Certified Nurses Aide upon hire required or
· EMT - Emergency Medical Technician upon hire required And
· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
What You Will Do
Patient Care:
· Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies) to ensure radiology suite is in working order and ready to use to reduce patient risk.
· Reviews physician orders and exam requisitions to ensure the continuity of patient care.
Equipment Operation:
· Operates, cares for and maintains relevant equipment to provide proper utilization.
· Troubleshoots and properly documents equipment malfunction to ensure timely repairs and patient safety.
Professional Accountability and Partnership:
· Maintains technical skills and technology advancement to enhance professional contributions to department.
· Recognizes and communicates ethical and legal concerns through established channels of communication for the well being and safety of patient
