Radiology Front Desk to greet and check in the patients. Also make Imaging disc for all outpatients, ED and in house patients who request their studies. Keeps an eye on the patients in the waiting room and assist patient to the front lobby or garage as neededGreets and processes all Radiology, CT and Ultrasound patients and responds to their needs.Answers telephone calls in a courteous and timely manner and relays messages appropriately.Print films for O.R when needed. Restocks all necessary supplies on a daily basis. Obtains patient information for film release.Releases and/or accepts requests for patient film release.Checks patient’s ID in accordance with National Patient Safety Goals protocol, before releasing images.Checks to ensure that CD or Paper Images and report are for correct patient immediately prior to releasing them to patient.Pre-print next day schedules for all modalities from the Forms Fast system Calls for transportation service for outpatients if necessary.Scan all pertinent documents into Alpha system.Fax reports to physician offices in accordance with HIPPA protocol. Distribute pre-procedure oral contrast to Outpatient CT patients.
