The I.R./Cath Lab Technologist performs the duties of a Radiologic Technologist.  They are developing knowledge and competency in performing I.R. and/or Cath Lab procedures.  They may be independently competent in one modality.  They may be proficient at performing simple procedures for adults and pediatric patients.

Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of Radiologic Technologist program. upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist. upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography or within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography or within 1 year of hire National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Experience as a Radiologic Technologist; 2 years preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Cath Lab or I.R. Radiologic Technologist.
